To assure your safety we adhere to the most stringent protocols, using
modern equipment and up-to-date standards. We meet or exceed OSHA guidelines.
Infection Control Procedures include:
- Wearing gloves, masks and protective
eyewear.
- Washing hands before and after each patient contact.
- Changing gloves
after each patient contact.
- Sterilizing dental instruments after each
use.
- Disinfecting the treatment room and equipment after each patient
use.
- Disposing of needles and other sharp items in special containers.
- Disposing
of contaminated waste items properly.
- Barrier techniques to eliminate
cross-contamination.
X-Rays
We use state-of-the art digital radiography, which uses computer technology
to take and “develop” your
x-rays immediately onto a computer
screen. There they can be enlarged or enhance for improved
diagnosis and patient education. You are exposed to 50-90% less radiation
than
with standard x-ray equipment, and there are no processing chemicals
to harm the environment.
